Wong Nai Siong Memorial Park 乃裳公园

#travellerswonderland Wong Nai Siong Memorial Park is part of Sibu Heritage Trail that was launched in 2012. The park was erected to commemorate Wong Nai Siong - a Chinese revolutionary leader and educator from Minqing county in Fuzhou, Fujian province, China - who led people from Fujian province of China to migrate to Sibu, Sarawak. As a pioneer, Wong played a critical role in resettling the Fuzhou immigrants. So, it's only fitting to have this memorial park dedicated to him.
