Shenzhen Spring Flower Viewing Guide!

April in Shenzhen is really beautiful. In the ancient villages that are over 300 years old, every household has planted bougainvillea, the kind that is pink and white, very dreamy. It's truly a place you would want to visit again and again. This place is Gankeng Ancient Town, a 350-year-old Hakka ancient village. The green brick paths paired with the wooden stilt houses are like a paradise hidden away from the world, not at all like being in Shenzhen. The ancient town has a library, coffee shops, a food street, tea houses, and more! It's cozy and comfortable, an excellent destination for a spring outing! 📍Location: Gankeng Ancient Town, Shenzhen 🎫Ticket: Free 🚇Transportation: Take the subway Line 10 to Gankeng Station, and it's a 10-minute walk from Exit B. 📷Recommended spots for visiting and taking photos: ❶ Longyue Square There is a super large pink and white bougainvillea here, and next to the clothing museum, there is a window that looks incredibly good for taking photos. To the right, there is an iron frame staircase that leads up to the second floor where you can see the roof covered with pink and white bougainvillea, and the view from above is very photogenic. ❷ The Twenty-Four Histories Academy Right across from the entrance to Gankeng Ancient Town, this academy has a very artistic atmosphere, much like the academies from the Tang Dynasty. There is also a super large lawn here for kite flying.
