Journey to the Douluo Celestial Palace: The Fantasy World of Journey to the West Today, I had the privilege of setting foot in the legendary Douluo Celestial Palace, as if I were in the fantasy world of Journey to the West. From a distance, the palace stands tall amidst the sea of clouds, an awe-inspiring sight. Stepping inside, I looked up at the enormous lotus flower above, feeling a mix of reverence and joy. Inside the celestial palace, the sights are even more breathtaking. The 33-meter-tall statue of Maitreya, the Preaching Heavenly Crown, sits solemnly on its throne, inspiring awe. The purple-gold lotus flower at the top of the palace, with a diameter of 56.7 meters, is considered the largest in the world, a testament to its miraculous craftsmanship. Beyond the palace, Longhua Temple and the Great Fragrant Forest are equally enchanting. The royal-style architecture of Longhua Temple, with its carved beams and painted rafters, is majestic; the thousand-year-old osmanthus forest of the Great Fragrant Forest, stretching for miles, is fragrant and intoxicating. This trip not only allowed me to appreciate beautiful scenery but also to experience a spiritual shock and elevation. The fantasy world of Journey to the West, now unfolds before my eyes, making me feel as if I am in the midst of myths and legends. May everyone have the chance to set foot on this magical land and feel the transcendent peace and beauty that is detached from the mundane world.
