Balagezong Scenic Area, located about 31 miles northwest of Shangri-la County is a pure land isolated from the outside world unmarked on the map. Till now, it is still a secluded land with Tibetan wood houses. It offers inspiring views of peaks, plunging steep valleys and rich Tibetan culture. A worthwhile day trip and would highly recommended a visit there!
