The Bund The Bund is my favorite place in Shanghai because you can really feel the greatness of Shanghai when you walk around that majestic riverside with the view of the tallest skyscrapers on one side and historical European built houses on the other side. Getting here - Take subway to East Nanjing Road (line 2 and 10) and walk from there. 2. Xintiandi Xintiandi is the perfect place to explore the french concession colliding with authentic shanghai lanes. Xintiandi offers a lot of western restaurants with live music and delicious food. There is a Korean museum and a stunning park nearby. Getting there - take subway to Xintiandi statio (line 13 and 10) 3. People’s Park I personally love People’s Park in any season but especially when Lotus is blooming so I can sit on a bench by the lake and enjoy the view. Getting there - take subway to People’s Park station (line 2 and 8) 4. Longhua Temple Longhua Temple is the most beautiful temple in Shanghai in my opinion and I love coming out there once in a while. Longhua Pagoda has been there for over 200 years. Getting there - Take subway to Long Cao Lu Station (one 3 and 12). 5. Lujiazui Lujiazui is where all the famous skyscrapers are, including Shanghai Financial Tower and The Pearl Tower. Walking around that area is truly magical because you feel extremely small standing down on the street while looking up at the buildings so tall you can’t even see the top, especially when it’s cloudy.
