Shanghai | Come to Shanghai Tower, and enjoy the French food

This time, I returned to Maison Lameloise for a meal during my trip back home. Situated on the 68th floor of the Shanghai Tower, it offers an absolutely stunning view of Lujiazui. The experience was elevated by their delightful spring menu. Marinated Mackerel Beautifully plated, the marinated mackerel retained its fresh flavor, complemented by cucumber sauce, diced cucumber, and a delicate cucumber flower on top. The crisp freshness of the cucumber balanced the rich umami of the fish perfectly. Spotted Salmon A generous piece of cured salmon served with creamy lettuce and sweet peas for a touch of sweetness. The green palette was refreshing and tied together by a vibrant lettuce soup, bringing a delightful contrast of fresh and savory notes. Golden Tilefish This dish stood out with its colorful presentation. The fish was tender and paired with a rich roasted fish bone sauce. The accompanying vegetables, including carrots and crispy potato balls, added layers of texture and flavor, creating a unique combination. Cherry Dessert The dessert was a showstopper: almond milk skin brought a rich yet subtle flavor, while the lemon curd added a hint of acidity. The raspberry-flavored lollipop was refreshing and the perfect palate cleanser. Sparkling Apple Juice I finished the meal with a sparkling apple juice that felt almost like sipping a sweet wine—perfect for setting the mood.
