Chenshan Botanical Garden's Quarry Garden

The Quarry Garden is one of the scenic spots in Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden, located at the northwest corner of the garden, near the northwest entrance. It is a horticultural garden transformed from an abandoned quarry site. In the 1950s, stone suitable for building materials was discovered at the foot of Chenshan, and it was continuously excavated. 30 years later, a huge 'quarry' was formed, boasting a vast lake surface of 10,000 square meters.
