Shanghai's newly opened hotel offers high cost-performance with an average cost of less than 200 per person

I chose to stay at this newly opened Holiday Inn Express when I came to Shanghai for a business trip. It's always better to choose new hotels over old ones, even though I was quite satisfied with the previous Holiday Inn Express hotels. ▶️The attitude of the staff at this new hotel is very good, and the service is enthusiastic❤️. They contacted me by phone before check-in and upgraded my room to a family room. However, now I feel that for two people, the superior twin room is more suitable. The superior twin room has a partition at the head of the bed, and both beds are 1.2 meters wide. The family room is slightly larger because one bed is 1.5 meters and the other is 1.2 meters, but there are no other differences. The sleeping experience is good, the room is well soundproofed👍🏿, and I fell asleep quickly at night. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, and bright, with fluffy down quilts and a variety of pillows, providing a high-quality sleep experience. ▶️Location: The hotel is very close to the Meiling North Road subway station, with the Shanghai Xintai Center Mall🏬 nearby. It's just a short walk away, offering many dining options and a boutique RT-Mart supermarket. It takes only half an hour to get to Hongqiao Railway Station by taxi and three subway stops. ▶️The rooms are clean and hygienic, but the newly opened hotel still has a bit of a fresh renovation smell, so I had to keep the doors and windows open all the time. Other than that, there are no other issues. The welcome drink🥤 upon check-in includes a choice of two bottles, with options like Coke, Fanta, Sprite, and sparkling water. There are also small fruits and cookies and candies🍬 provided. The rooms are new, and the bathrooms are large, with a wet and dry separation and body lotion. The towels and bath towels look very clean. ▶️The hotel facilities include a laundry room and a simple gym. The size is a bit small, but the washing and drying facilities are quite good and new. ▶️Breakfast🥣: The breakfast at Holiday Inn Express🥣 is complimentary with the stay and is quite good. The breakfast combines Chinese and Western styles, leaning more towards Western. There is a wide selection of pastries🥮, and the fruit is very fresh. Watermelon, cantaloupe, cherry tomatoes, vegetable salad, and several flavors of yogurt are all good. The noodles🍝 are light and require adding your own toppings. There are also several hot dishes, as well as scrambled eggs with noodles and fried rice. The Swiss rolls and meat floss buns in the pastry section are good, and these change daily. ▶️Currently, the hotel has just opened, and the prices are still quite cheap, especially when booking rooms with points. It is still quite suitable for a stay and experience. The front desk service is impeccable, and staying here for business is really reassuring.
