An art center that is being done, is in the process of doing, and will always continue to do

The old house renovation usually turns into shops or restaurants, and it is rare to see one become an art center. Surprisingly, the garden villa located at 1394 West Beijing Road has become the Picasso Art Center. As a high-yield note-taker for Ctrip, I had the honor of being invited to visit the art center. Upon entering the main gate, what catches the eye is 'Being done, in the process of doing, and will always continue to do.' A closer look reveals it's the slogan of E Coffee, but it also aptly applies to the Picasso Art Center. The center is actively 'doing' art exhibitions, 'in the process of doing' art promotion related to the masters. Unfortunately, the efforts are still not enough. Despite its central location next to the district government's administrative office building, not many people know about it. The visitor flow during my visit was insufficient, lacking a sensational impact. Would the master be displeased if he knew? The exhibition is divided into six pavilions, including original works and a video room that continuously introduces the master's life and behind-the-scenes footage of the master painting, allowing visitors to watch repeatedly and feel the master's style. Interestingly, there is also a room dedicated as a studio, allowing people to indulge in painting and potentially have an intimate encounter with the master's spirit, finding inspiration and self-satisfaction in their creativity. I am grateful to the teachers who curated the exhibition for meticulously designing it for the people of Shanghai and for creating a wonderful place for children to learn and cool off in the summer. Although the number of visitors is still not high, I believe that as the promotional efforts intensify and word of mouth spreads, more and more people will come to experience it. The art center will definitely persist in 'continuing to do' better and better...
