Serumbia’s hidden gem alert 🚀 Looking for the perfect chill and caffeine fix? I found SARUNE Coffee & Eatery, which is changing the coffee game in North Sumatra! This spot blends cozy vibes, delicious eats, and a coffee menu that's worth the trip. Top Spot to Visit: SARUNE Coffee & Eatery Address: Jl. Simpang Empat, Beganding, Kec. Simpang Empat, Kabupaten Karo, Sumatera Utara 22153, Indonesia Hours: Usually open from morning until late evening (double-check with trip.com if you’re planning!) Why I loved it: Their coffee hits the spot – local beans, expertly brewed. Don’t skip the signature drinks! The food is surprisingly tasty for a café (try the nasi goreng or any local-style snacks). The staff are friendly, and it’s perfect for studying, work, or catching up with friends. Personal tip: Get there early for the freshest pastries. The views from the outdoor area are seriously Instagram-worthy, especially in the afternoon. Bring some cash – digital payments can be spotty here. Getting there: Use local transport or grab a ride-hailing option. If you’re in central Serumbia, it’s a quick trip. Parking’s usually available. Food recs: Try their iced coffee, house specialty, and Indonesian comfort foods on the menu! Weather reminder: It’s cooler up here, so layer up if you’re visiting in the morning or late evening. #SerumbiaEats #CoffeeCulture #NorthSumatra #CafeHopping

Sarune Cafe was non-negotiable on our itinerary, a famous hotspot in Kabupaten Karo where lavender, views, and vibes collide. But, the real magic began on the way there. Flower beds spilled along the roadside like a living painting, colors everywhere, with Mount Sinabung standing tall in the distance which bold, calm, and impossible to ignore. The view wasn’t just pretty, it was breathtaking. The kind that makes you fall silent for a moment. We were so amazed that we pulled over without thinking. One small gerai, overflowing with flowers, standing proudly against the mighty backdrop of Sinabung. No plan. No rush. Just a moment that demanded to be felt. That stop wasn’t on the itinerary but it stole the entire day. Some views don’t just stay in photos. They stay with you. eh wait, Here’s the surprise: getting there was an adventure in itself. That was a story of its own. Most of the road wasn’t paved, turning our journey into a wild roller-coaster ride. Bumps, dips, and sways had us laughing, gripping the seats, and shouting every few seconds. Somehow, the chaos made everything feel even more alive. #SaruneCafe #BrastagiAdventure #MountSinabung #KabupatenKaro #LavenderFields #FlowerRoad #TravelDiaries #HiddenGemsIndonesia #EpicViews #RoadTripVibes #AdventureAwaits #NatureLovers #CoffeeWithAView #BreathtakingViews #OffTheBeatenPath #WanderlustIndonesia #TravelMoments #RollingRoads #FlowerStop #ChasingViews
