TRIP TO TENOM ONLY AT RM15???!!

TANJUNG ARU RAILWAY STATION – BEAUFORT - TENOM 📍 TANJUNG ARU - BEAUFORT One way - RM 4.80 Return – RM 9.60 7.45 am – 9.40 am. One word. PUNCTUAL. We departed from Tanjung Aru; Kota Kinabalu (KK) sharp at 7.45 am. From my experience, the journey from KK to Beaufort was less exciting, maybe because not much attractive scenery along the journey. The train pick-up passenger from 7 places before you reach Beaufort, so you need to bring enough food with you. Well, as I said, there is not much you can do inside the train, so sleep it is. 🛤️ Beaufort P.O.V. My first impression was “Okay, this is interesting and where are we going to eat?” Beaufort is just a small town; you can just walk to one place and another. So, while waiting for the next journey (to Tenom), we decided to have our lunch. Unluckily, there were a lot of shops closed during our visit and we don’t have many choices of places to eat. At last, we just randomly choose any shop and ordered. And surprisingly the price was high which was not worth the portion and taste (OK, won’t mention the shop here obviously). Whatever it is, JUST EAT AND DON’T COMPLAIN TOO MUCH! OVERALL: Beaufort, YOU’RE AWESOME! 📍BEAUFORT – TENOM One way - RM 2.75 Return – RM 5.50 13.30 PM – 5.00 am. Okay, now is the interesting part. Personally, I have enjoyed this journey and it was priceless memories sitting at the WAGON with the school kids. Along this journey, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sungai Padas. Sungai Padas is well known for White-water Rafting activities (Grade 3 – 4). 🛤️ Tenom P.O.V. First thing first, CHECK-IN !!! We stayed for a night in Tenom because there is no return train on the same day. We stayed at #Homey backpacker tenom . Don’t expect too much, it is worth the money you pay (the cheapest among the others place). But the best thing is, you can cook here. They provide cooking equipment and yeeha cook by yourself. Meanwhile, us be like “WE DON’T COOK, WE GO EAT OUTSIDE!” ahahaha. 📍RETURN HOME FROM TENOM P.O.V Well, it was fun, and yeah, WE ALMOST MISSED THE TRAIN! We are still jetlagged from the previous journey. The train from Tenom departs at 7.30 am and again we need to transit at Beaufort before continuing the last journey at 11.00 am to Tanjung Aru which is estimated to arrive at 13.00 pm. We have our breakfast nearest the station. 📌 TIPS (BEAUFORT – KK): RUSH FOR YOUR SEAT OR ELSE YOU WILL SIT ON THE FLOOR ALONG THE JOURNEY. 📌TICKET: 1. CANNOT BE REDEEMED.
