WHITBY: North Yorkshire Day Trip Inspo

#postandearn Whitby is a small, beautiful town in North Yorkshire with good connections to Scarborough and Middlesborough. It took approx. 3 hours driving straight from Manchester and I loved every minute 🤩 In the morning: ⛪️ Take a walk up the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey. This is what inspired the creator of Dracula to set his story here. It is quite expensive to enter the Abbey but it's stunning and comes with a charming gift shop. 🤩 🍫 Buy some fudge/chocolate from Justin's confectionary, absolutely divine. Why not visit one of Whitby's plenty souvenir shops? 🤑 In the afternoon: 🧛♂️ Go on the Dracula Experience, it lasts 15 minutes and gives an amazing insight into the novel and further motivations 📚 🚤 Take a boat trip. I recommend the midnight boat ride for the best sunset views over Whitby. Or, if you're in a good mood, try the sunset and the midnight ride! 🌞 🐋 Finally, visit the Whalebone arch for scenic views of the town. Take a selfie here, don't let the large queues bother you.
