Iyayoriko Shrine

Iyayoriko Shrine is located within Nakajima Park, offering a serene and tranquil environment with few visitors. To visit the shrine, you can take the Namboku Line to Horohira-bashi Station, or get off at Nakajima Park Station and enjoy a leisurely walk through the natural scenery. If you drive, there is a parking lot in front of the shrine office. Although the shrine is not large, it offers a variety of amulets. The shrine is dedicated to the god of learning, so most of the amulets and lucky charms are related to passing exams. This time, I bought a semi-transparent goshuin (shrine stamp), and there are many styles to choose from. When I was buying the goshuin, I accidentally dropped a 100 yen coin on the floor and couldn't find it. I wanted to look for it, but the shrine staff said they would find it when they cleaned, so they only charged me 400 yen. Very considerate, highly recommended.
