Alamo Square has a lush green hilltop and is one of the best photography spots as well as a great place to go for a sunbathe. On the east side of Steiner Street there is a collection of Queen Anne architectural houses that are the hallmarks of San Francisco architecture. The most famous is the six sisters (Six Sisters), also known as the "Painted Ladies" Victorian villa. This is the only remaining six Victorian buildings in San Francisco. They are often found in landscape books and are now a legacy of San Francisco and a must-see place for tourists.
