🍁Had a brief experience, the next week will be the best time 🍁Maybe we arrived late that day, so we entered without paying. The manager even told us not to go into the mountains because there are wild animals! Maybe he thought we would go deep into the mountains, but we told him we wouldn’t go far and would just take photos nearby 🍁The pictures are in chronological order 👣Set off from the valley entrance at 5 PM p1 (this is the road junction next to the Baima toll station, there is a large platform nearby where you can park for free. Although there is a barrier, it was observed to be raised all the time and no fee was charged) 👣Walked a short distance forward p2-6 (this section only takes a few minutes, you can walk on a relatively wide paved road, or on a lawn with quite a lot of cow dung 💩, or on a rocky path along the stream that can be tricky to walk on) 👣Reached the main entrance of Seabuckthorn Valley p7 (there is a grassy parking lot here but it charges 10 yuan, and several portable toilets which are said to be very dirty. We met someone who wanted to use one but immediately jumped out saying it was unbearable to step in. There are also some paid camping cabins p9) 👣The scenery after entering, there is only one main road gently sloping upward, with colorful forests on both sides of the mountains, and you are walking facing the snow-capped mountains. Occasionally looking back, you see a continuous stretch of colorful forest p8-14 👣We didn’t go far, saw a row of wooden railings, met a herd of cows heading home, the sky was getting dark, and we took photos of the snow mountains and colorful forest before returning p15-18 🍁Arrived late so the light was dim, only a little sun came out that day, but the colorful forest looked very brilliant to the naked eye, live original photos 🍁The round trip took a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes, walking, taking photos, and playing along the way, so this time may not be a reference. We came down at 6:20 PM, the temperature dropped sharply, the wind picked up, and the temperature drops quickly at night in the mountains. Try not to come back too late. We stayed in a village at the valley entrance, very close, so no rush 💰Entrance fee is 18 yuan per person, hiking round trip is 14 km, the innermost part is a waterfall, and there are shuttle carts available, 20 yuan per person one way, 30 yuan round trip, it takes 15 minutes to reach the waterfall above (they say no entry after 3 PM, but we actually saw cars still taking people up at 6 PM).
