Longshang Garden - Pingliang Liuhu.

Liuhu Park is located under Dingbeimen, Kongtong District, Pingliang City. It was built in the first year of Xining in the Song Dynasty (1068 AD) and has a history of more than 900 years. It is named after the lake and the willow trees. Liuhu Park is a natural landscape garden in Longdong. It forms a unique landscape with "willows in the lake, and lakes in the willows". During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, it became the forest garden of King Han Panzhao. King Zhao expanded it on a large scale, and built the "Shenliu Reading Hall", "Wenlan Bridge", "Yangzhengxuan" and other buildings. Ming Wuzong Zhu Houzhao bestowed the "Chongwen Academy" for the princes to study. After the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, it was repaired many times and was renamed "Baiquan Academy" and "Gaoshan Academy". In the early years of Tongzhi, Liuhu was destroyed by soldiers. In the twelfth year of Tongzhi (1873), Zuo Zongtang, the governor of Shaanxi and Gansu, stationed troops in Pingliang and ordered people to repair it again, named "Liuhu Academy", and personally wrote the plaque "Liuhu". He wrote "Song Nuanquan" and "Chongxiu Pingliang Nuanquan Monument".
