If you want to go, please note that if you are driving, you should go directly to the scenic area, because the scenic area is about four kilometers away from the tourist center. If you drive by yourself, it's fine, but if you take a taxi, you should go directly inside the scenic area. There is a direct bus to the scenic area from Pengxi Bus Station, which takes about forty minutes to reach the foot of the mountain. It seems that there are only two or three bus services a day, so if you want to go, please pay attention to arrange your time. The mountain is beautiful and resembles a perching phoenix, hence it is also known as 'Gaofeng Mountain'. It was once dominated by Taoism, with a combination of Confucian and Buddhist cultures, and now it is a Taoist activity site of Longmen orthodoxy. It is the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units. It was first built in the early Tang Dynasty, continued in the late Qing Dynasty, and expanded in the Republic of China. It was a temple revered by many elders of the National Government and worshipped by the eighteen provinces of the country. Lin Sen, the then Chairman of the National Government, inscribed the plaque 'Doing Good Brings the Greatest Joy' in its honor. Gaofeng Mountain is known as 'the first famous mountain in northern Sichuan' and 'the first peak in central Sichuan'. Due to its unique Bagua maze architecture, it is also known as the 'Maze of Northern Sichuan'. The 'Bagua Maze Ancient Architectural Complex' and 'Laozi Stone Sculpture' in the scenic area are called 'the wonders of Gaofeng, unique in the world'.
