Nuremberg City Walk 2.
Germany 🇩🇪 Nuremberg is a very quiet and leisurely city. For someone like me who can briefly escape from the fast pace of China, I fell in love at first sight.
The old town in the center of Nuremberg is the commercial center. The area is not large. It takes two hours to start from the southernmost train station, walk to the castle overlooking the entire city, and then walk back. I also had coffee on the roadside. It is definitely a good choice for a city walk.

Extreme day trip to Nuremberg
Having been inspired I booked myself on a day trip to Nuremberg Germany. Caught the 655 am flight out of Stansted and was swiftly transported into the centre on the Ubahn which you can catch directly outside the airport. During the day I did the nuclear bunker tour and the rally grounds tour both really interesting and worth doing. I spent some time wandering around the older parts of the town picking up some lunch and lebuchken and had a lovely day in the sun. Headed back to the airport and was through security in 9 mins. Nuremberg airport is pretty basic so would advise eating etc before you get there. They also seem to like to 'board' you very early - my flight was done when it was still over Belgium and once you have had you pass scanned there is no vending machines/toilets past this point. For £50 all in I really can't complain about my big day out 😆

There’s nothing better than the dairy products you can buy in Bavaria, so why not pair it with a view of a historic church! When we went to the market square in Nuremberg, we had no idea we would happen upon a gothic church that dates back to 1352ad! If you visit Frauenkirche at noon, you might be lucky enough to hear the old clock chime.

Views from Nuremberg Castle
#urbanexplorer #nuremberg #germany
If you’re looking for stunning views of Bavaria, it can’t get much better than Nuremberg castle. After a short walk up a small hill, we found ourselves at the battlements of the castle which is one of the most well preserved medieval fortresses in Europe!
My favourite part was making our way up to the high walls to get an amazing view of the town.

Handwerkerhof Nuremberg
What you find here is a quint medieval scene with timbered houses and cobblestone alleys. The shops that line the inner walls of Handwerkhof sell crafts, gifts, local food, drinks. Its a neat little arrangement and worth a quick look-see for those sightseeing in the southern part of Nuremburg. It is close to Nürnberg Hauptbahnof station (right across the station) and inside of it, you see many shops selling souvenirs and other handicrafts.
Small but very lovely. Worth a visit. You can feel the atmosphere of old times and eat something good.

Impressive St. Lorenz
St. Lorenz (St. Lawrence) is a medieval church of the former free imperial city of Nuremberg in southern Germany. It is dedicated to Saint Lawrence.
Amazing cathedral with Gothic style architecture. The building is clearly visible in this small town with few tall buildings. The twin towers looked massive from a distance, and even more imposing up close. Inside is richly decorated.
Very near to the Nürnberg hbf probably takes less than a couple of minutes. This has to be a must go place if you’re in Nürnberg.
This gothic cathedral in fact is probably the most prominent Lutheran church in Bavaria, and this is also likely why it was fixed so quickly after the major damages it received after WWII. This historical church began construction in 1250 and took 227 years to build not completely finished until 1477.

Imperial Castle of Nuremberg
Very impressive and excellent castle visit to the Imperial Castle.
It is located at the top of a hill, overlooking the city of Nuremberg. The castle is very well maintained. There do not have any buses directly up so it might not be completely accessible for physically disabled people.
Due to destruction during WWII, most of the interiors are redone as a museum. The anvient weapons and armor displays are nice. Climbing up the tower was fun and offers great views.
Buy the combination tickets to visit the castle, tower and the well. It's definitely worth it.
A "must" if you are in Nuremberg.

Bratwursthäusle - Must Try !!
Very cozy traditional German style restaurant.
Great and Super delicious local food. Best, fast and efficiency customer service. We ordered the sausage and roasted pork shoulder. They make sausage everyday and grill it manually, it tastes very fresh and yummy! The pork shoulder ‘s skin is super crispy. Perfect lunch !
The prices are reasonable for being in what is practically the center of the tourist spot in Nürnberg. The waitress can speak English. They provide English menu as-well.
A truly must go place!

#nurember or Nürnberg is a city in #germany that is close to Munich. It is place with different architecture than many other places in the country. The houses around are very nice and some of them are in Tudor style. There is also a tower and a small fortress in the city centre. The place also features very nice cuisine. I definitely liked it and I can say it is a perfect spot for a day trip.

Many people saw my group of photos in the ticket circle. They all commented below. 1 Where is this place? 2How did you do that there were no tourists taking pictures around?
This is the Vienna Palace of Justice. It is now the main office of the Austrian Supreme Court, the Vienna State High Court, the Vienna State Supreme Prosecutor's Office, the Vienna State Civil Court and other legal departments. It can be said that I have seen the most magnificent. The court is over.
A lot of people can't think that the court can be so beautiful. When my husband and I said that you want to be here, Mr.'s whole question mark face
When entering inside, Mr. is completely symmetrical. The design is attracted, the tall columns, the wide stairs, the exquisite sculptures, the gorgeous but the solemnity, this architectural style is really too cure for obsessive-compulsive disorder.
This is not a place for regular visitors to visit. It is a place to be taken by ins bloggers. Therefore, there are not many tourists, and most of the photos taken inside are Western tourists.
The Palace of Justice is located behind the Museum of Natural History and can be visited after security screening. The security check is strict. First, the bag and other items on the body are given to the security guard. After that, the security door is scanned for scanning. After opening the door, the backpack is opened and the security guard checks the contents. When leaving, you don't have to check the backpack, but you still need to scan through the security door before you can go out.
Because it is someone else's office, although it is open to visitors, it is recommended that you try to keep quiet.

Hide the sights! The lesser-known Palace of Justice
Vienna Justice Palace is hidden on the left side of the Austrian Parliament Building, behind the Vienna Museum of Natural History, but because its faade is covered by several trees, it is not even if it is specifically sought after. Its hard to find where it is going through thousands of times on the Ringstrasse.
Vienna The Palace of Justice is now the main office of the Austrian Supreme Court, the Vienna State High Court, the Vienna State Supreme Prosecutor's Office, and the Vienna State Civil Court. But even many people in Vienna don't know that it is actually an attraction that is open to the public, and no tickets are charged. As long as they go through the security check at the entrance, they can enter. The
Vienna Justice Palace, like the other buildings on the Ringstrasse in Vienna's Ringstrasse, was built in the era of Emperor Franz Joseph and designed by the Vienna architect Alexander Wielemans, so the interior of the building is symbolized by the successors of the Roman Empire. Double-headed eagle logo. Since its completion, the Vienna Palace of Justice has been the judicial center of Austria for more than 130 years.
The lobby on the first floor has a symmetrical layout, tall columns and beautiful sculptures, gorgeous and solemn. The roof is a semi-elliptical glass, and the sun shines directly through the glass into the hall. It is rare that such a European-style attraction (more precisely, it should be a location) has no tourists and is a paradise for photographers.
High sitting in the middle, holding a gold-plated sword in one hand and one hand on the code is the ancient Roman goddess Justitia, symbolizing fairness and justice. It is known as the most beautiful statue of justice in the world, and the face is serious, and Will is not angry. On top of the semi-circular god, a delicate red balance scale is set, indicating that the court trial is flat and unbiased.
Take the central staircase and look around. The Palace of Justice is a symmetrical building centered on the dome. The doors and windows are large and small, and they are all semi-circular arches. The style inherits the cloak of ancient Roman architecture.
When shooting, occasionally the staff inside passed through the corridor and saw that we would smile and nod. However, in order to protect the long-term nature of this position, it is recommended that friends who are going to shoot keep quiet and low-key. After all, it is the Supreme Court, not a tourist attraction.
The top floor of the Palace of Justice is the cafe Justiz-Caf. I heard that it overlooks the famous buildings such as the Parliament, the City Hall, and the inner city of Vienna. If you are interested, you can go and have a look.

Nuremberg is the second largest city in Bavaria, Germany, but the old town is not large and it is effortless to visit. Nuremberg has a population of 500,000, which is much more lively than the towns of the previous few days. For 3.5 euros, you can climb the tower of the castle and take a panoramic view of Nuremberg. The main market square is the heart of the old town, and the unique Gothic church is full of medieval style. There is also a famous golden octagonal tower on the square. Its name is Nuremberg's Meiquan, which is decorated with 40 statues. In the past few years, Nuremberg has been in the process of maintenance, and now it is finally showing its perfect face. The golden iron ring is embedded in the outer iron railing. It is said that as long as the golden ring is rotated three times, the wish can be realized in the heart. I also silently made my wish.

Nuremberg's #Main Market Square # is not only the Christmas party, but also the summer is also as gorgeous as Christmas, highlighting its position in the Christmas market industry.
Going here, you can basically go shopping for an hour and browse the market. There are so many things you can buy in the market. There are some German crafts and Christmas goods, including many crafts in it. A lot of surprises, if you feel that there are obstacles in communication, it doesn't matter. The Germans are very kind and very patient, and they have the same calculator as our nationals.
In addition, there is an unlimited amount of gourmet beer orgy in the market. Basically, the stalls of the carts are neatly arranged, so they are very orderly and very enthusiastic. Feeling that there are language troubles, the price will be marked on the small blackboard of each family, and paying directly will be ok.
The market has a beautiful spring symbolizing luck, and the Church of Our Lady can pray. Of course, you can also take the Emperor Fort from the downtown area to overlook the panorama, beautiful! #

Nuremberg is the second largest city in Bavaria, Germany, second only to the capital of Munich, the birthplace of Siemens, the world's leading large enterprise group, and the home of the famous sports brand Adidas.
Nuremberg is a city where many German emperors were born and lived, with a strong history. Nuremberg is also known as the Toy Capital and is the German toy manufacturing center.
Main Church The St. Baby Market on the square is one of the oldest and most prestigious markets in Germany, dating back to the 14th century.

[Karl August, Nuremberg] Karl August Modern Boutique Hotel.
The boutique hotel "Karl August" in the old city of Nuremberg, Germany, is officially known as Karl August - a neighborhood hotel. It opened three years ago and, together with the adjacent art gallery, forms a community-integrated neighborhood by the river. The public area and even the small desserts in the rooms all emphasize social attributes.
The hotel is designed in a minimalist industrial style with black and cement colors, which is my favorite style. In addition, the contrast between the old cadre style of Sheraton and Karl August is obvious.
The public area is developed around two purposes. The spacious lobby has a large sofa area, and a restaurant and a café connected to it form a warm and open public area, taking care of different groups of people who like socializing or quietness. I will write another note about the restaurant.
There is a gym, swimming pool, and sauna on the 4th floor. Although the hotel is small, it is fully equipped. The skylight on the roof creates not only a light atmosphere but also a good view. The hotel has two popular check-in points. One is next to the window by the gym, overlooking the entire neighborhood, and the other is on the sun lounger by the pool, looking up at the castle on the mountain.
Room selection tips:
I stayed in two different room types this time, including a superior double room and a deluxe suite with a terrace. Neither of them has a bathtub. The suite has a kitchen, coffee machine, and tea bags. The suite has a terrace by the river, and the view is good. The room area is not much different, and the price difference is not big, so it is recommended to choose the suite first.
For environmental protection reasons, toothbrushes and slippers are not provided in the room, but they can be obtained at the front desk. However, body lotion needs to be purchased separately. It is the same brand of skincare products as the aromatherapy shop downstairs.

Day 5: Nuremberg and Fulda Castles
Arrived in Nuremberg at midnight, it was already dusk, but it still couldn't stop its half-wooden barrel house's medieval style, castle, Gothic church, fountain, sculpture, Bavarian-style house, Albrecht Dürer, German National Museum, Toy Museum, Siemens birthplace, the prototype of "The Nutcracker", the largest Christmas market in December... This town was built in 1060. Nuremberg's fame is related to the trial of Nazi war criminals held here after World War II in 1945. Due to history, Nuremberg is one of the ruling central cities directly under the emperor of the "Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation". During World War II, it was the venue for the Nazi Party's annual party congress. It was glorious during Hitler's Germany era, and it also made the city a key bombing target for the British and American allies. The old city with a strong medieval style was leveled, and it was rebuilt after the war, but it still retains its style. Later, with the development of industry, as a hub for foreign trade, the first section of railway from Fürth to Nuremberg was built here.
Time back to the morning, also in a castle, Fulda. Fulda is a city in Hesse, Germany, located on the Fulda River. It is the 9th largest city in Hesse, the capital of Fulda County, the bishop's residence of the Catholic Diocese of Fulda, and has a spectacular cathedral.

Modern History
The great modern history city you will find a lot of places to visit, especially the castle and the streets and the bridges. The most famous food here is lebkuchen. You should try it and you can buy it as gifts to your friends .

Nuremberg Castle is an amazing spot to visit if you're in Nuremberg. Sitting on a hill, it offers fantastic views of the city and gives you a real sense of stepping back into medieval times.
I really recommend taking a guided tour. The guides share a lot of interesting stories and facts about the castle and its history. There are also exhibits with cool medieval artifacts and displays.

Stay at Leonardo Royal Hotel Nürnberg
Stay at Leonardo Royal Hotel Nürnberg: Five-star comfort and convenience
I recently had a lodging experience in Nuremberg, Germany, at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Nürnberg. Overall, I had a very positive impression, with several highlights worth sharing that I hope will be helpful for your travels!
Soundproofing
First, let's talk about soundproofing, which is particularly important to me. The hotel's soundproofing is really good; it's very quiet at night, and you can't hear any noise from outside. Even in the morning, when people are moving around in the corridors, it doesn't affect my sleep at all. For someone who likes to sleep in like me, this is a big plus.
Cleanliness
The cleanliness of the room also satisfied me. As soon as I entered the room, I could smell the freshness, and the sheets and towels were very clean, as was the bathroom, which was spotless. It felt like every corner had been carefully cleaned, even those small places that are usually overlooked. The quality of the toiletries was also very good, and they were comfortable to use.
Room Amenities
I stayed in a standard room, which had a simple and modern design. Although the room was not large, it was well arranged. The bed was very comfortable, with a mattress of moderate firmness, and I slept very well. The room had a flat-screen TV, a minibar, and free high-speed WiFi, which are very suitable for relaxation or work. There was also a small desk in the room, which was convenient for work.
Price
Speaking of the price, I think the Leonardo Royal Hotel Nürnberg offers good value for money. Considering its location and the facilities and services provided, the price is really reasonable. Compared to other hotels of the same class, this one felt more worth the money.
Restaurant
The hotel's restaurant is also a highlight. The breakfast is very rich, with fresh fruit, various breads, hot bacon, and fried eggs, etc. I especially recommend their local cheese and cold cuts, which are really delicious. The restaurant has a comfortable environment, and the staff are very friendly. Having breakfast here in the morning makes the whole day feel better. I also tried dinner, which had a lot of local and international cuisine, with a rich selection.
Gym
The hotel's gym is well equipped. There are treadmills, exercise bikes, and various strength training equipment. Whether you like aerobic exercise or strength training, you can find what you need here. The gym is open 24 hours, so you can work out whenever you want, which is very convenient.
Leonardo Royal Hotel Nürnberg is one of the hotels I've stayed in with a very good experience. It's well located, close to major attractions, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the service is thoughtful. If you're planning to go to Nuremberg, I highly recommend this hotel; I guarantee you'll have a pleasant stay.
I hope my sharing is helpful to you, and if you have any questions or want to share your travel stories, feel free to leave a comment!
Looking forward to sharing more great travel and lodging spots with you next time!

Rock legend Sting tours, about Nuremberg, things you didn't know
Date: 2023/12/6
Venue: Arena Nürnberger Versicherung
The septuagenarian rock star Sting continues his tour, and this time he has arrived in Nuremberg, Germany. Nuremberg was one of the ruling centers directly governed by the emperors of the 'Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation', a city filled with art and history. Let's take a look at some of the must-visit spots!
1. Nuremberg Castle
The Kaiserburg is a very iconic medieval building in Nuremberg, also known as Nuremberg Castle. Nearly every emperor of the Roman Empire has stayed here. The castle's buildings are connected by passages, corridors, tunnels, and gardens.
2. Beautiful Fountain
On the octagonal stone basin in Hauptmarkt, stands a 19-meter-tall tower, its golden glow shimmering with the square.
3. Main Market Square
The Main Market Square is the heart of Nuremberg's old town. Here you can see traditional markets that continue to this day, and of course, it's a very lively place during Christmas. There are also many ancient buildings nearby, among which the famous one is the very old Gothic church in the Bavarian region—St. Mary's Church in Nuremberg.
