Spring outing to Xuanwu Lake

Xuanwu Lake Park, formerly known as "Sangpo", is located in the center of Nanjing city. According to the official website in April 2023, the scenic area has a total area of 5.13 square kilometers, of which 3.78 square kilometers are lake area and 1.35 square kilometers are land area. It was established in the pre-Qin period and is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. The park mainly includes five green oases such as Yingzhou, Liangzhou, and Cuizhou. Liangzhou features attractions like the Bonsai Garden and the Azalea Garden Tower; the name "Xuanwu Lake" originated in the 23rd year of Yuanjia during the Southern Dynasties' Song Emperor Wen.
