Senggigi Beach is a bustling area of Lombok Island, with many hotels, restaurants, and SPA travel agencies. The hotel I booked was Sheraton Senggigi Beach Resort. The hotel is a bit old, but the service is very online, and the room has been upgraded to a top-floor suite. The two-night tax-inclusive package I booked was only 1,000 RMB, including airport pick-up. The main reason for booking this package was the airport pick-up, which cost 150 RMB. The hotel has its own private beach, the waves are very calm, and it is very safe to play in the water. The price of the hotel's SPA is very touching, a 90-minute SPA facing the sea, the marked price is only 300 RMB, but the hotel gave a 50% discount, which is 150 RMB for 90 minutes, it is hard to imagine this is the price of a five-star hotel SPA. The hotel's food and beverage prices are also very affordable, a main course is also around 50 RMB. Staying at the hotel on Senggigi Beach is good, but the seawater and beach are a bit inferior. To see better seas, you must go out to sea, to the Gili Islands in the northwest. The Gili Islands consist of three islands, A Island, T Island, and M Island, usually going to T Island, which is more mature and larger. From Lombok Island to T Island of the Gili Islands, the full name of T Island is Trawangan, the route is actually very short, but you have to take a taxi from Senggigi to Bangsal Pier, and then take a boat. There are many touts here, you don't need to pay attention to them at all, just buy the local slow boat, 25K Indonesian Rupiah, and you'll be there in about 20 minutes, remember to wear slippers because you will get your feet wet. T Island is very commercialized, there are many good accommodations, and they are cheap, you can find very good hotels for prices between 300-500. On T Island, I stayed at Scallywags Resort, which is right on the beach and sea, and has a great sea view breakfast, priced at just over 300 per night. In fact, T Island is really healing, although small, but the sea, beach, and sunset are very beautiful, if you have enough time, you can stay on the island for 3 nights, perfectly relieving all stress and worries. In fact, in addition to the perfect beach and sea, the main event on Lombok Island is the 4-day and 3-night Rinjani Volcano trekking tour. The volcano is stunning and magnificent, but it is closed before April due to the rainy season, so this trip did not happen, next time I will choose to go to Lombok Island again in the non-rainy season.
