A quaint and secluded place—Bixi Ancient Town

This is a niche attraction known to locals as Bixi Ancient Town. It is located on the north side of Mojiang River. It was built in the Ming Dynasty and was originally named "Bishuo". It is an important stop on the Ancient Tea Horse Road. There are Bixi Octagonal Tower and the former residence of the Yu family on the cross street of the ancient town, and there is the former residence of Li Xiushan outside the city tower. Decorative elements such as carvings, blue and white cornices, black tile roofs, earthy yellow walls, window grilles, wooden doors, etc. are well preserved. There is no excessive noise or commercialization here. When you walk in here, all you see is life. The town is not big and crowded, and everything feels peaceful and peaceful.
