Banco de Espana

It is also known as Bank of Spain, which was established in 1782, today the bank is a European System of the Central Bank. It is located at Calle de Alcala, 48, 28014 Madrid, and the nearest metro station is Banco de Espana ( Line 2 ). The main headquarters is located here in Madrid with beautiful 19th century Spanish architecture. It is an eclectic building, in which the facades, with their classical-styled element stand out. They are complemented by the French-styled doors and grillworks. The Royal Mint of Spain is not open to public, but you can visit its museum. The building was one of the prizewinners at Spain National Fine Art Expo of 1884.
