Since then, it has become a major trading town in the southern Sichuan area, serving as a transit point between Sichuan's Luzhou and Guizhou's Chishui, and a necessary pass through the 'Sichuan-Guizhou Corridor'. Its prosperity at the time has left behind many historical sites and buildings: Wang Dynasty's former residence, Dongyue Temple, oil paper umbrella shop, Dahong rice shop, Zhou Mansion... 🔸The architecture of the ancient town is mostly in the style of southern Sichuan courtyard houses, with blue-tiled houses stretching along the more than 1000 meters of the ancient street, forming a belt-like layout. It just so happened to be a rainy day☔, with fewer tourists strolling the streets, so I took the opportunity to walk slowly along the old street.
