Alien hunting in Rachel

A day exploring the extraterrestrial highway in Rachel, Nevada. We travelled between Christmas and New Years so the road was quiet. I’m not sure what it’s like during the summer season, but in the winter we saw very few cars. I would definitely take supplies like water and snacks. Although there are a few small towns and gas stations along the way. First stop was the sign, we luckily ran into a private tour who took photos for us and let us pose with their props. Next we headed to the Earth station, however it was closed. Then we headed to the Little Alien inn. This had a few souvenirs and the food was basic, but really good. A must stop if travelling to Area 51. On the return journey we stopped at the black post box. Hard to spot, as in the middle of nowhere! We stopped again at the Earth station which was open this time and again worth a visit for souvenirs! At this time of year it was a hot, but a nice hot.
