Leshan Giant Buddha / A thousand years old, sitting quietly watching the world

Leshan Giant Buddha, also known as Lingyun Giant Buddha, is located on the east bank of the Minjiang River in Leshan City, Sichuan Province, next to Lingyun Temple, overlooking the confluence of the Dadu River, Qingyi River, and Minjiang River. The Buddha is a seated statue of Maitreya, with a total height of 71 meters, and is the largest cliff-carved statue in China. When I first visited here, I was excited and shocked. The Leshan Giant Buddha embodies the ancient people's strong wisdom and skills. First of all, the mountain is a Buddha, and the Buddha is a mountain. What a magnificent momentum! It really is that sentence, feeling that the sky is falling and there is a big Buddha supporting it; secondly, the design of the Buddha's drainage channel is so ingenious, without damaging the beauty and integrity of the Buddha, it is conducive to the drainage of rainwater, ingenious design, great engineering, ancient wisdom~
