During our recent road trip through Malaysia en route to Hat Yai, we made a stop in Kulai on our way back before driving all the way back to Singapore. The stopover proved to be a good recharge before our journey back to reality. 😅 🏨STAY: 📍Creator Hotel 😋FOOD: 📍Food Generation 新食代 📍Yong Juan Hin 📍Jie Di Char Kuey Teow 📍Cafe Jufei 聚啡馆 📍Chao Liu Xian Hotpot 潮六鲜鸡煲牛肉火锅(Kulai) PLACES: 📍Hutan Bandar Kulai I would highly recommend a weekend getaway to Kulai as it is really quite accessible from JB and even Singapore. 🇲🇾 Langkawi 🏝️ 3D2N Food, Travel & Activities Guide — Part 2| 兰卡威🏝️ 3天2夜吃喝玩乐攻略(下) ✨ For our one-day tour, we chose the mangrove tour. It’s suitable for both young and old, with slower boat rides, plenty of activities, and just the right amount of time. The overall experience was really enjoyable! We visited during the rainy season, and it happened to rain that day. Apart from the photos not turning out as nice, there were no complaints. The weather was cool and comfortable, and we didn’t feel hot at all. ✨ I booked a private boat for 7 people and added RM100 for snorkeling. The total came to around RM400, which was only about RM57 per person! The best thing about booking a private boat is that you can leave whenever you’re ready without waiting for other people. You can also skip the less interesting spots quickly and spend more time at the places you enjoy. After brunch, we arrived at the jetty and set off immediately. Our first stop was to watch the eagles feeding. This isn’t caused by humans feeding them—it’s a completely natural phenomenon. The boat captain also told us that this type of eagle can only be seen in Langkawi, so it was quite an amazing sight! ✨ Next, we visited Bat Cave and Crocodile Cave. There were really a lot of bats in Bat Cave, but there are no longer any crocodiles in Crocodile Cave. Along the way, the boat captain stopped occasionally so we could feed the monkeys. The tour guide who helped us book the trip had reminded us not to bring anything in plastic bags, just in case the monkeys tried to snatch them. When we were feeding the monkeys, the captain and my travel companions told us that the monkeys here were quite polite. They would wait for people to feed them instead of immediately grabbing things, so there was no need to be too afraid. ✨ After that, we headed out to sea for snorkeling. However, the water can become murky when it rains. So if you’re visiting during the rainy season, I’d suggest skipping the snorkeling add-on. Our final stop was a fish farm, where we could touch different types of fish before ending the mangrove tour. Afterwards, we went back to the hotel to check in, enjoy the pool and beach, and freshen up before heading out for an ATV ride. For this trip, I stayed at Aloft Langkawi. The room was spacious and clean, the service was great, and it was only a five-minute walk from the beach. The breakfast spread was also quite extensive, and the hotel organised different activities for children throughout the day. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it! For the ATV ride, 6 adults and 1 child shared 3 vehicles. A guide led us through the rubber plantation, waterfall and village roads. The whole ride lasted about 1.5 hours. We didn’t ride too fast, so it felt quite safe. Everyone agreed that the ATV experience was really fun and definitely worth trying! For dinner, we went to GUA MAHA. We had a seafood feast for around RM30 per person. The food tasted good, the portions were generous, and the value for money was great! However, if you’re specifically looking for freshly caught seafood, this may not be the place for you, as they serve chilled seafood. ✨ On the third day, we had breakfast at the hotel before heading to the airport to return the car. And just like that, our Langkawi trip came to an end! 🚗 ✨我们这次一日游选的是红树林。红树林这条线是老少咸宜~全程都是比较慢的船速,而且项目丰富、时间不长、体验感也足~我们来的时候刚好是雨季,这天还下雨了,除了拍照不太美外没有缺点,不热还很凉快。 ✨我选的是7个人一价包船,再加了RM100去浮潜,总价是RM400左右,人均才RM57!包船的好处就是,随时可以出发,不用等人,觉得不好玩的点可以快速略过,觉得好玩的地方可以停留久一点。 ✨所以我们吃完brunch 来到上船点就马上出发了~首站是看老鹰捕食,这个不是人类喂食,是纯自然现象,船长说这种老鹰也只在兰卡威有得看到,所以还是挺震撼的! 60 ✨🦅后就来到蝙蝠洞和鳄鱼洞🐊,蝙蝠洞是真的有蝙蝠,还很多, 但鳄鱼洞已经没有鳄鱼了~沿途路上船长都会停留一下,让我们喂一下猴子🐒。 ⚠️前一天订行程的小哥哥提醒我们,如果要带东西上船,不要用塑料袋装,以防万一猴子来抢!喂猴子时船长和队友说,这边的猴子比较礼貌,它们会等人给,不会一来就上手抢,所以也不用太害怕~ ✨之后就是开出去大海准备浮潜啦,但是下雨海水会浑浊,如果是雨季 来建议不用加浮潜了🤿 ✨最后一站就是鱼类养殖场,可以摸一下不同的鱼,就结束红树林行程 啦~之后我们回酒店 check in,玩了一下泳池和沙滩,梳洗后出发ATV。 这天我订的是Aloft雅乐轩🏨,房间大、卫生好、服务态度很好,距离沙滩 5分钟,早餐种类也丰富,酒店每天不同时间还有专门为小朋友而设的活动~总体推荐! 针ATV我们6大1小开3台车,路线会人带,途径橡胶园、瀑布、乡村小路,全程1个半小时。我们的车速不快,所以还挺安全的,我们一致觉得ATV很好玩!值得一试~ 晚餐吃的是GUA MAHA🍝,人均RM30的海鲜大餐,味道很好,而且分量真的够足,性价比高!但是追求新鲜海鲜的别来,因为它家是冰鲜的。 ✨第三天在酒店吃完早餐后出发机场还车,结束兰卡威行程啦~🚗 #solotravel #unforgettableexperiencesnces #backpacking2026 #localsouvenir #couplegoalstravel #traveldiscussion #travel2026 #travel #trip #familytravel
