This price is truly exceptional value in the Kansai region of Japan. 2️⃣ Excellent Location The hotel is just 100 meters from the exit of Kashihara Station, less than a minute's walk away. From here, it's about half an hour to downtown Nara and about an hour to Namba and Shinsaibashi in Osaka, making it convenient for both sightseeing and transportation. 3️⃣ Facilities and Dining The hotel is not only affordable, but also offers excellent amenities. While the lounge is a bit basic, it does offer snacks and drinks, including alcohol and juice, so you can enjoy it after your evening onsen soak back at the hotel. The dinner buffet was over 9,000 yen per person, and I wouldn't recommend it without the 50% discount offered by the hotel membership. It's a bit pricey (even more than the room rate 😅), but the pictures show that the food was quite good, with Wagyu beef shabu-shabu and Asuka hot pot made with local Nara ingredients. The free breakfast was quite good. For a hotel in the early 200s, the buffet area was packed with options. The onsen isn't very large, consisting of an indoor pool about five or six meters long and wide and a sauna. However, there's a large onsen lounge outside with free cold water and plum juice. There's also free bicycle rental and self-service luggage lockers. Summary: For just a few hundred yen a night, this international chain hotel offers hot springs, a buffet breakfast, a drinks lounge, and convenient transportation.
