Soga River: A treasure trove of less people than the Beiwari River and more beautiful scenery than the Saba River

#MarchGoodPlaces2025 I used to think that beautiful scenery, few people and easy access were an impossible triangle of travel destinations, until a friend recommended the Soga River to me. Compared to other attractions in Nara, which either have huge crowds or require taking buses with limited schedules, the Soga River can be reached directly by Kintetsu, and there are fewer tourists, most of whom are locals, so it is easy to find a photo location. As an excellent cherry blossom viewing spot, it is also fully equipped with various facilities - the river bank, tram, children's park, and S-curves are all great tools for taking photos. The entire riverside cherry blossom path is quite long, and you can walk and take pictures for more than two hours. It is recommended to go there from around 3pm to 6pm. If you like riverside cherry blossoms and are in the Kansai area, you can definitely go there without a second thought.
