Banff's Stunning Winter: Lake Minnewanka

Lake Minnewanka, the largest glacial lake in Banff National Park, is 28 km long and 142 meters deep. In summer, it is the only lake near Banff where motorboats are allowed. We visited during winter when the lake was frozen, and it was truly special to be able to walk on the lake's surface. We hope to return in the summer to enjoy a boat ride and take in the beautiful scenery around the lake.
