Huzhou Luchun Yue Liu Hotel, a fairy-like retreat in Huzhou

Huzhou Luchun Yue Liu Hotel Yue Liu Garrya, a new hotel brand under the Banyan Tree Group, is the first of its kind in the world, located near the millennium-old Luchun Village. It's about an hour and a half drive for two people from Shanghai, and not far from the Shenjiahu Expressway exit. The hotel's exterior is full of design, resembling a cocoon from a distance. The lobby is beautifully lit, and you can take beautiful photos with ease; the interior gives off the vibe of Fujian Tulou, with rooms almost all featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies. Upon entering the lobby, the towering and pointed roof creates a majestic atmosphere, with the rigid materials cutting light and shadow, allowing a sense of luxury to flow freely in the space. Rooms The hotel has 107 rooms, including 77 guest rooms, 19 family rooms, and 11 suites. Balconies or huge floor-to-ceiling windows are standard in every room, offering a panoramic view of the outdoor scenery. The surrounding area is rather desolate and open, with a ten-minute walk to Luchun Village, but it is still under development, with not much commercial atmosphere, which is quite comfortable for someone who enjoys tranquility like me. Downsides: Most rooms have poor privacy, as you can clearly see the opposite room from the balcony; the washbasin mirror is too high, making it inconvenient to use.
