Rosewood Hong Kong | A Charming Estate in the Heart of the City, Above Victoria Harbour

Three years later, returning to Hong Kong, the city remains romantic. Yet, there are many new changes, such as the establishment of a new landmark hotel above Victoria Harbour: Rosewood Hong Kong, a hotel that has amazed me several times in a short period. Design master Tony Chi, with the concept of an 'urban manor' at the core of his interior space design. Stepping into the hotel, one finds that it's not about the luxury of hardware accumulation, nor is there a tall and open lobby. Through a selection of artworks and various private spaces, what is presented is a more homely mansion-style living experience. Therefore, when the elevator doors to the rooms open, it's like returning to one's own living room, with no other brand willing to make such a statement in the corridors, but Rosewood does so with another greeting to the traveler returning home. Pushing open the door to the room, the view outside brightens the mood, with the day and night, light and shadow of Victoria Harbour framed like a painting in the window. It is said that Rosewood Hong Kong offers the highest standard of basic room types in Hong Kong, both in terms of size and hardware. The design details are also worth pondering and appreciating, with the louvers on either side of the floor-to-ceiling windows adding a touch of warmth and ambiguity, along with a hint of Southeast Asian charm. One can always feel the brand's pursuit of detail and control of tone from its female founder. The marble bathroom is surrounded by mirrors, and the custom octagonal copper basin continues the design technique of the Rosewood London, with a shower room that is romantic and luxurious enough for two people to bathe at the same time. Located on the 40th floor, the Manor Club executive lounge offers not only a panoramic view of Victoria Harbour but also a true sense of manor service. I also experienced a Cantonese meal at the Chinese restaurant named after Dr. Cheng Yu-tung, the founder of the Rosewood Hotel Group's parent company New World Group: The Legacy House. The Rosewood brand is truly dedicated to its culinary offerings. Perhaps it's the comfortable atmosphere of the outdoor pool, the art pieces that can be seen everywhere, or the sense of belonging in the rooms, Rosewood Hong Kong has a charm that makes one want to stay forever~
