Shopping guide for Ho Chi Minh trip in Vietnam

Today, I'll be sharing a shopping guide: Big C: I used to think that you could only shop at Big C in Thailand, but it turns out they have it in Vietnam too. I highly recommend everyone to buy souvenirs here. The prices are reasonable, and you can explore local snacks. You can find various brands of Vietnamese coffee here. I tried three brands of coffee, and personally, I like Nescafe's Vietnamese coffee the most. Landmark 81: This is located in the rich district, a more high-end shopping center. It's a bit far from the tourist area. It's a regular shopping center, but if you want to buy branded items, you might consider coming here. Bui Vien Walking Street: This is the favorite street for young people, especially lively at night. As the night falls, the street becomes crowded with bars on both sides, and the music is booming. There are also some food stalls here, so even if you don't drink, you can try some snacks and experience the lively atmosphere. Thai Binh Market: On the third day, come here for breakfast and explore the local market. It's a wet market and has a variety of nuts. Cashews, pistachios, and more can be found here. It feels like the vendors are honest; since it's a market for locals, they don't have to deal with tourists much, so most of them don't speak English. Ben Thanh Market: This is a market that tourists usually visit, selling cooked food, nuts, coffee, souvenirs, etc. As it's a tourist area, prices are higher, so it's recommended to haggle. I recommend trying the dried lotus seed snacks here; they're sugar-free, oil-free, and salt-free, a healthy snack. It seems like this snack has different grades; try before you buy, some are harder, and some are more crispy. Binh Tay Market: This one is farther from the city center, located in Chinatown. It also sells various nuts, and the prices are a bit cheaper than Ben Thanh Market. It's a larger market, a wholesale market, but it also retails goods. #hochiminhguide
