The beautiful scenery of Hangzhou and the plane trees are inseparable

Seventy-five years ago, the People's Liberation Army of China entered Hangzhou with red flags, announcing the liberation of the city. Since then, the soldiers of the People's Liberation Army have planted rows of plane trees around West Lake. After decades of sunshine and rain, the plane trees on both sides of the West Lake have grown tall and lush. In summer, they provide shade for the citizens of Hangzhou, and in winter, they add a touch of color to the West Lake with their golden canopies. In recent years, the garden department has adopted new technologies to effectively control and reduce the pests and diseases of the plane trees, making them more beautiful and lush in all seasons. As an old Hangzhou native, the plane trees are my favorite old friends.
