Tianmu Mountain is a kingdom of flora and fauna, which is also reflected in many details of the hotel. For example, the hotel's room cards are different from the usual ones. The hotel's 177 room cards all feature different hand-drawn illustrations of Tianmu Mountain's flora and fauna, laying the groundwork for exploring Tianmu Mountain. 【Restaurant】 The restaurant is one of the places I visit most often, where I enjoy all three meals a day, and tasting local cuisine is an indispensable part of traveling. The most eye-catching is the tree made of lights in the middle of the restaurant, which is very beautiful when lit up at night. Moreover, there is a foreign singer performing live in the restaurant at night, creating a great atmosphere. In a resort hotel far from the city, time seems to slow down. Afternoon tea is most suitable for this mood, and the afternoon tea here is very special; if you look closely, you can find many shapes of plants from Tianmu Mountain. 【Guest Rooms】 The king-size room I stayed in had an excellent view, with the bed facing a huge floor-to-ceiling window, outside of which is a balcony with a view of lush greenery. The temperature in early summer on Tianmu Mountain is suitable for outings. The bathroom is a separate space with a shower and bathtub. Outside the bathroom, there is a washstand, and next to it, a separate toilet. 【Hotel Facilities】 The natural exploration park next to the hotel is very suitable for families with children. Before going to Tianmu Mountain, you can get some preliminary information here. As a resort hotel, a gym and an indoor swimming pool are standard. The outdoor swimming pool will be open in summer, but the water temperature is not yet suitable for swimming. The children's playground is fully equipped, so there's no need to worry about where to take the kids when staying at the hotel. The hotel also has outdoor play facilities, which are like a small amusement park. 【Dining】 I was very much looking forward to dinner, and the hotel did not disappoint. The ingredients used are the freshest seasonal delicacies from around Tianmu Mountain. The bamboo shoots of this season are crisp and sweet, appearing multiple times in the dinner. Local river shrimp and small fish are also rare delicacies. The buffet breakfast is very rich, and I especially recommend the bamboo shoot beef noodles, with large pieces of tender beef and a rich aroma. The Western food here is also good, beautifully presented and impeccable in taste, offering a dual enjoyment of visual and taste senses. 【Tianmu Mountain Scenic Area】 It takes about 10 minutes to drive from the hotel to the West Tianmu Mountain scenic area. If you want to explore Tianmu Mountain in detail, it will take about a whole day. From the tourist center at the foot of Tianmu Mountain, it takes about 40 minutes by shuttle bus to the Kingdom of Big Trees at the mountain top. The four characters of 'Kingdom of Big Trees' are the feature of the scenic area, with many ancient trees on the mountain, especially the ancient Cryptomeria group, with more than 500 trees over 500 years old, which is extremely spectacular. One of the Cryptomeria trees was known as the 'Thousand-Year Tree' during the Song Dynasty, and Emperor Qianlong named this tree the 'King of Big Trees' when he visited Tianmu Mountain. In addition, there is a ginkgo tree on the mountain that has seen five generations, which is quite spectacular. The Chan Yuan Temple at the foot of the mountain is not far from the tourist center and can be reached on foot.
