Hangzhou, Zhejiang Imperial Street of the Southern Song Dynasty Drum Tower

Imperial Street of the Southern Song Dynasty is a main street that dates back over 800 years to the Southern Song Dynasty capital of Lin'an. Starting from the northern gate of the imperial city and Ning Gate, passing through Chaotian Gate, Zhongshan Middle Road, Zhongshan North Road, and Guan Bridge (Guan Bridge) to the area around the intersection of Fengqi Road and Wulin Road, it was the central axis of Lin'an city in the Southern Song Dynasty, with a total length of about 4185 meters. It was the exclusive road used by the emperor during the 'Four Meng' to worship at the Jingling Palace. The existing buildings of the Imperial Street of the Southern Song Dynasty are mostly institutional relics from the early Republican period, many of which have been listed as key cultural relics protection units. The Imperial Street of the Southern Song Dynasty is connected to Hefang Street, with the busiest intersection, where a large number of time-honored brands gather.
