Strawberry Picking experience at Bereenberg

It’s cloudy day in Adelaide but we still decided to visit this strawberry farm at Hahndoft in order to experience the strawberry picking. Its about 30-40mins drive from Adelaide CBD. Bereenberg farm is running by the 6th generation of Peach family who successfully converted from family farm to working strawberry farm, and transformed to the brand as Bereenberg. The highlight of the visit is pick your own strawberry which cost AUD5 for the entrance and AUD12/kg for the strawberry that you can bring home. The freshness strawberry from farm. We don’t have much time spend in the farm as showering in the afternoon. We quickly wrap up and we have a quick coffee break at the cafe / souvenir shop. Variety types of jams/ dressing can be found as good as souvenirs. We enjoy the strawberry picking and also the good cafe.
