A stroll and late lunch on Shamian Island

Shamian island is a spectacular little area to explore with its quaint coffee shops, restaurants and plenty of historical buildings. Strolling through the area does have one feeling as thriugh you've been shuttled through time. #timetravel We had a lovely dining experience at ”The Orient Express” which not only had a spectacular menu but a terrific wine selection. The restaurant itself is a dining cart of an old train which makes for a rather cozy atmosphere. It was a really relaxed day of strolling and dining and I'm very much looking forward to heading back there. I spent so much time enjoying my surroundings that I barely took any pictures.
