Traveling the Great Ocean Road

The great ocean road is one of the world's most scenic drives, running along the south coast of Australia between Melbourne and Adelaide. You could see part of it on a day tour from either city, but if you want to see the whole thing, you'll need at least two or three days. If you don't have access to your own car, there are plenty of tours running from both Melbourne and Adelaide. Along the way you can stop at a number of spots for some amazing views. The Grampians is a great spot as are the Twelve Apostles. The twelve apostles are a collection of stone pillars rising up from the ocean. If you're lucky you might even come across some wildlife along the way like koalas, kangaroos and wallabies.
