Fangchenggang, the shock of man-made giants

Fangchenggang City is located at the southwestern end of China's mainland coastline, facing the Beibu Gulf to the south, separated from Vietnam by a river. The city is named after its port and built around it. Fangchenggang City has unique ecological resources. The interlaced distribution of the Qisha Peninsula, Yuman Peninsula, Jiangshan Peninsula, and the bays of Dongwan, Xiwang, and Pearl Bay, known as 'three peninsulas and three bays', boasts a hundred miles of golden beaches, over 10,000 square kilometers of sea area, and China's first GEF Mangrove International Demonstration Area. It is a full-seascape ecological bay city where 'the city is in the sea, the sea is in the city, and people are in the scenery.'
