In Dunhuang, a city where desert meets art, we pre-selected two boutique hotels with very different styles—Dongyi Dunhuang and Biyue. Watch the desert sunrise from your room in the morning 🌅 2. Join the hotel's "Nightfall Ceremony" at dusk (desert bonfire + local folk music) 3. Mudboard painting workshop (the instructor explains Dunhuang mural techniques) 🍽️ Food Tips: • Must-try scallion beef pancake (crispy but not greasy) • Lamb vermicelli soup paired with desert sunset is incredible • Remember to bring a thermos! The hotel offers special herbal tea 🚗 Nearby transportation: • 15-minute drive to Mogao Caves • Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring reachable by foot • Thoughtful airport shuttle service (provides wet wipes and bottled water) 💡 Genuine impressions: As a design enthusiast, I was truly moved by the details! Every item in the room is a work of art, even the humidifier is hidden inside a ceramic jar.
