Birds' chirping was especially abundant around the pond in the Lower Garden and in the lush, tree-lined Upper Garden. I brought along binoculars with my travel grant, and it was a delight to observe these beautiful, unidentified birds. If you're looking to see New Zealand's wild birds up close, this is a must-visit.
