Vivid Colors, Rose and Camellia Gardens The lower garden's rose and camellia sections were the most vibrant areas of the botanic garden in September. The camellias (Camellia) were in full bloom even in September, showcasing deep pink and red flowers that contrasted beautifully against the green backdrop. While many roses were still in bud, they hinted at the splendor of early spring. Thanks to the 'travel grant,' I was able to enjoy these special seasonal blooms and get an early taste of spring's charm.
