A charming red hero city, Dandong, a 24-hour trip to the northeast.

✨I have visited this place many times, but this time, I decided to focus on the small towns around it. I drew a 1.5-hour high-speed rail circle around Shenyang, and the name Dandong jumped out. Dandong, a border city, a symbol of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and a large strawberry garden, exudes a unique red charm. The red here is the red of history, the red of heroism. 🚄The high-speed train arrived in Dandong at 3:30 pm. On the high-speed train, I had already arranged the next 24 hours clearly. The hotel is just opposite the train station, and it only takes 15 minutes to check in, and then go straight to the sunset viewing point. I carried a 500mm lens and set foot on the mysterious land on the other side. 🌄The best spot - Jinjiang Pavilion on top of Jinjiang Mountain Park! The three-story pavilion has steep steps. The view from the top of the mountain is amazing, and the sunset puts a golden filter on the lens, which is very suitable for the buildings on the other side. I took pictures with a 400 focal length, and I could take pictures of the statue of the great man and the train station in the foreground, the new and old Yalu River bridges in the middle, and the new city of Sinuiju in North Korea in the distance. As night fell, the night view on the other side seemed a little dim, but the lights on the bridge would be turned on at 18:10. In the evening, I strolled along the Yalu River and admired the lights of the bridge up close. The night here is very quiet and beautiful. 🌸During my stay in Dandong, I had a total of 2.5 meals. The first meal was fresh seafood at a seafood barbecue; the second meal was soft dates at the morning market; the third meal was North Korean-style cold noodles and rice cakes at Songtaoyuan. Every meal made me feel the enthusiasm and deliciousness of Dandong! 💪I made a special trip to the Memorial Hall of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, a place full of history and heroism. Here, I deeply felt the greatness and courage of the Chinese people. During the 24 hours in Dandong, I found that every small town has rich treasures waiting for us to explore and discover.
