Strolling through Longmenhao Old Street, one can admire the Dongshuimen Yangtze River Bridge

Speaking of Longmenhao Old Street, it is backed by Nanshan and faces the Yangtze River. When visiting the old street and viewing the river scenery, one can see not only the towering buildings in Jiangbei but also the spectacular Dongshuimen Yangtze River Bridge. The Dongshuimen Bridge connects Dongshuimen of Yuzhong Peninsula with Tianmen on the south bank of the Yangtze River. The bridge serves both road and rail traffic, with the upper level accommodating a pedestrian walkway and a two-way four-lane roadway, while the lower level carries a two-way rail line. The rail transit Line 6 passes through here, and we even went to take a closer look and took photos. The Dongshuimen Bridge is a steel truss girder cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 520 meters, a bridge width of 21 meters, and a total length of 1000 meters. It was opened to traffic on March 31, 2014. There are sightseeing stairs at both ends of the Dongshuimen Bridge. The No. 2 entrance and exit of Longmenhao Old Street's Xiaohao Li is right at the head of the Dongshuimen Bridge. Just a few days ago, we took an overhead panoramic photo of the Huguang Guild Hall at the north end of the Dongshuimen Yangtze River Bridge!
