An Elegant Stay at InterContinental Chiang Mai

InterContinental Chiang Mai the Mae Ping is a beautifully revamped version of Chiangmai’s iconic “Mae Ping Hotel,” situated in the prime location at the heart of the city. Guests can effortlessly board a local minibus to visit all the intriguing sightseeing spots in Chiangmai's old town and easily stroll to explore the legendary Night Bazaar, which is just minutes away. The hotel boasts true 5-star IHG service, integrating elegant “Lanna” or Northern Thai decorations throughout. Although this occasionally made spaces feel less open, especially in the "Classic Room" where we stayed previously, we were fortunately upgraded by Khun Nui and Khun Fern at the Executive Club Lounge (assisted by Khun KaoFang at Operator) to the more spacious Premium Mountain View Room. The buffet breakfast at The Gad Lanna and Executive Lounge is undoubtedly the best in town, and among the finest in the country. It's genuinely a "must-try." The decor and ambiance are elegant, and the food quality is outstanding, offered in a wide variety, all tasting absolutely delicious.
