Bangkok, My Five-Day Drifting Diary

This summer, I spent five days in Bangkok and here's a record of my itinerary, which might serve as a reference for sisters who want to visit Bangkok 🌟Day1 【Shopping】 1⃣💫 I first visited jj mall and dd mall, two second-hand markets right next to each other. It's better to go in the afternoon because many shops are still closed in the morning. I spent the afternoon there and found some nice treasures! 🛍💃 2⃣ After exiting the national stadium subway station, I was surrounded by several large shopping malls. By the way, you can also see the symbol of Bangkok here, and the sky train shuttles overhead, which is quite spectacular! Many people take photos here, and my friend and I joked, 'Isn't this the Thai version of Liziba?' There's also an art gallery mall with great coffee on the first floor and various exhibitions upstairs, highly recommended! ☕🏬📸 3⃣ Then I went to siam icon, moving from one mall to another, but didn't find anything particularly special. 🏬🤷‍♀ 🌟Day2 Museums + Malls + Chinatown 1⃣✨ I visited the Bangkok National Museum, which I highly recommend! It showcases the luxurious lifestyle of the royal family and was quite an eye-opener. 🏰💎 2⃣ Next, I went to central world, another large mall. However, on weekends, there's a second-hand market that you can't miss! 🛍🔁 3⃣ Then I headed to Chinatown, but it was too crowded, and I didn't think it was necessary. 🚶‍♀🙅‍♀ 🌟Day 3 The Grand Palace + Boat Ride + Wat Pho Buddha 1⃣ The Grand Palace felt like the treasures of the Bangkok National Museum were brought outside, and it was bustling with people. 🙆‍♂👑 2⃣ Taking a boat was a special experience, offering a chance to enjoy the beautiful riverscape. ⛵🌊 3⃣✨ The Buddha at Wat Pho was truly a pleasant surprise! Amidst the bustling market, I saw such a spectacular Buddha statue, which was a visual shock. It also gave me a deeper understanding of the Thai people's reverence for Buddhism. There are many great spots for taking photos, it was amazing! 🌸📸🙏 🌟Day 4 Floating Market + Second-hand Bookstore 1⃣✨ I spent a whole day taking a bus to the floating market. It's actually a shopping paradise on water, and I think it's worth a visit because I had never seen such a scene before. At the floating market, I felt like I was in the depths of a swamp, seeing boats, houses, and river water, which was quite poetic. What surprised me even more was that the next day, I met a German sister on my journey who happened to be reading the book I bought at the floating market! 🚣‍♀🏘📚 2⃣✨ Also, I visited Dasa second-hand bookstore, which I really liked. 📚❤🌟 Day 5 1⃣✨ I went to The Jam Factory, where there was a tree like a nature spirit. I was truly captivated by it! 🌳🧚‍♀ 2⃣ Afterwards, I went to River City, which was very close by. Inside there was an antique mall, but also some exhibitions. There happened to be a series of exhibitions that day, and I entered a room, lay down, and watched a documentary about mental illness, which was very interesting! 🏛🎞😮 🌟 As for the food, I went to many recommended restaurants, but in the end, I found that the most delicious food was from the street stalls I stumbled upon by chance. Also, I recommended Factory Coffee, a coffee shop, and the other restaurants were just casual tries while wandering around. ☕🍽
