Philae Temple and Isis and the Virgin Mary

Located on a small island not far from the Aswan Dam, the Philae Temple, along with the Abu Simbel Temples, is among the first batch of World Cultural Heritage sites. It is also a relocation project from underwater, but its style is quite different and worth seeing. The Philae Temple is dedicated to the goddess of love, Isis, who is the wife of the ancient Egyptian god Osiris and the mother of the pharaoh's protector, Horus. Her status is indeed very high! After ancient Egypt was conquered by Greece, this temple added Greek and Roman elements such as Roman columns. During the Byzantine period, when it was conquered by Rome again, many ancient Egyptian elements were destroyed, and attempts were made to replace them with Christian elements. This is the practical operation of destroying history before destroying a nation. From today's remnants, it can be seen that since the world is so vastly different, the existence of a certain spirit and value must have its rationality. This may be the underlying reason why the Temple of Isis became the last stronghold of ancient Egyptian temples and hieroglyphs, and why Isis became the prototype of the Virgin Mary.
