Tscharke Wine Tasting at The Protagonist

Barossa in Adelaide boasts numerous wineries, each producing their famous bottles. We chanced upon this place called Tscharke, and it did not disappoint. Their visitors’ area, Protagonist, is quaint, but everything is delicately curated—from the furniture down to the music and the aromatherapy in their bathroom. More than the ambiance, the service and the wines—famously known for as organic and biodynamic estate wines—were the highlight of this quick tour. We skipped the underground cellar experience and the full wine service because we didn’t have enough time. However, that didn’t mean we weren’t able to try their top-notch wines at an affordable price. We tried the Shiraz Shiraz Shiraz, A Thing of Beauty, Girl Talk, and Grenache Rose.
