Day 3–5: Cornwall: St Ives → Land's End → Minack Theatre
Day 6–7: Northern Ireland: Giant's Causeway → Dark Hedges

▪️ Classic Route: Hike from the visitor center to Beachy Head (1.5 hrs one way)
▪️ Secret Viewing Platform: Cliffs east of Seaford Head Golf Course (shown as a lawn area on Google Maps)
▪️ Fun Fact: A hot air balloon crashed here in 1875, and the wreckage became nesting material for seagulls.
‼️ Safety Tips:
Stay at least 5m away from the edge of the cliff! Erosion occurs at a rate of 30 cm per year.
Wear hiking shoes with good grip. Chalk rock layers are extremely slippery when wet.
🎨 St Ives: Paintbrush in Your Left Hand, Scone in Your Right
▪️ Treasure Map of Artist Studios:
① Vortex window on the top floor of Tate St Ives (for capturing the same color of the sea and sky)
② Glass studio at the end of the pier (watch live creations)
③ Hide in the basalt labyrinth of the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden
🍴 Seafood Feast:
Sea Fishing Experience: Depart at 5am with fisherman Clive (book via email 2 weeks in advance)
Must-Eats: Cornish crab pasties, goose barnacles boiled in seawater
🎭 Minack Theatre: Shakespeare on the Cliffs
▪️ Seating Tips:
Budget-conscious travelers should choose stone steps (with cushions), while big spenders should choose VIP wooden chairs in the front row.
The Chapman's Seat area offers simultaneous views of the stage and dolphins leaping out of the water.
‼️ Ticket-Buying Secrets:
Winter performance tickets go on sale 4 months in advance, and summer performances recommend locking in Wednesday's "Moonlight Special" shows.
🌋 Giant's Causeway: Where Myth Becomes Reality
▪️ Geological Control Gameplay:
① Find hexagonal columns (only 7% of the total)
② Scratching basalt with a coin will emit a sulfurous odor (legend has it that it is the sweat of giants).
▪️ Hidden Dungeon:
Walk along the Runkerry Trail to the sea cave at low tide.
Collect limited-edition mythical creature stamps at the visitor center.
📸 Dark Photography Spots:
Early morning mist at Dark Hedges (Game of Thrones King's Road filming location)
Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge at sunset (check bridge closing times in advance)
🚗 Transportation Tips:
▫️ A diesel car is recommended in Cornwall (low fuel consumption on mountain roads).
▫️ For the Northern Ireland section, a ferry + local car rental is recommended (experience the Titanic Belfast museum).
🧳 Luggage Additions List:
Binocular umbrella | Sketchbook | Sea wind face mask | Portable watercolor set | Folding reef shoes
💡 Off-the-Beaten-Path Experiences:
① Learn to repair fishing nets in a Cornish fishing village (hidden skill of B&B landlords)
② Create temporary land art on the Seven Sisters Cliffs with chalk rock.
③ Collect five types of coastal stones: flint/granite/schist/basalt/limestone
🍺 Taste Memories:
Lemon dark beer from a Brighton beach hut
Cornwall-limited gin (seaweed-flavored distillation)
Volcanic bread from Belfast (baked with Giant's Causeway basalt powder)
⚠️ Things to Avoid:
Tripods are strictly prohibited at the Minack Theatre, and monopods require a photography permit.
Some narrow lanes in Cornwall require reversing 200m to give way, so it is recommended to purchase zero-deductible insurance.
Climbing the Giant's Causeway columns is prohibited (violators will be fined up to GBP 2,000).
📅 Best Times to Visit:
May (gorse season) | September (whale watching season) | Avoid the student rush in July–August

Land's End, England
Here, there are strange rocks by the sea. When combined with the atmosphere of flowers, grass, sea water and sky, the view is very good. The location here is a city and tourist and holiday destination in the west of Cornwall, England, on the Penwith Peninsula, about eight miles (13 km) west-southwest of Penzance.

Revolving Around the Beauty of Nature: Eyes – England
Stop: Penzance
Penzance, set on the rugged coast of Cornwall, is a town where land and sea meet in dramatic interplay. Overlooking Mount’s Bay with views toward the iconic St Michael’s Mount, it has long been a hub of maritime life, trade, and cultural exchange. Its location at the far southwestern edge of England gives it a sense of both remoteness and openness, a place that looks outward toward the Atlantic while retaining the distinctive character of Cornish heritage.
The town itself is rich in Georgian and Regency architecture, palm trees swaying gently thanks to the mild climate, and a promenade that embraces the sweeping seafront. Just beyond lies a coastline shaped by cliffs, coves, and hidden beaches, perfect for walking and discovering Cornwall’s untamed beauty. The subtropical Morrab Gardens and art galleries like Penlee House add softer, cultural dimensions, contrasting with the wild sea that has defined the town’s history for centuries.
Penzance also carries a deep sense of story, from tales of pirates and smugglers to its place in literature and song. Today it serves as both a working community and a lively gateway to West Cornwall, where traditions of fishing, art, and local festivals thrive. It is a stop that blends everyday Cornish life with a backdrop of extraordinary scenery, making Penzance not just a point on the map, but a living symbol of Cornwall’s enduring spirit.
