2026 Cromer Travel Guide: must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transport & travel experiences (updated in July)

There is something quite special about the English seaside out of season. It oozes charm and faded glory through its tight streets. Cromer is well worth a visit.. The shingle beach either side of the Victorian pier provides a soundtrack of calm as you walk along from one end of the town to the other on the promenade. Treat yourself to a local Cromer crab sandwich at the many cafes of locally caught fish and hot tasty chips from ‘no1’ above the pier. Walk along the coast path towards Overstrand, past the bright beach huts and you arrive at a Banksy mural. It is a little faded, perhaps like the town? However the message still resonates through out holiday destinations worldwide. #Cromer #fishandchip #Bannksy

#uktrip A lovely short stay at Cromer county club, situated near the clifts overlooking the sea. Stayed in a 2 bed apartment, nice size apartment with kitchen. Beds were comfortable and has central heating (we stayed in December). Leisure facilities were very good - nice pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room as well as a good games room with air hockey (pay for) , table tennis and bits for smaller kids like a climbing wall (small I would suggest suitable for 2-4 years), small soft play and giant connect 4. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Hoping to return as had a very enjoyable stay. We had a meal at the on site amber restaurant and it was lovely food and service, would recommend.

Hunstanton is a lovely family destination with many things to do. One of the best in my opinion is the aquarium! Seeing all the fish, seals, and penguins was amazing, and they are all so cute!!#Croma #hunstanton #beach #travel #friends #trip

Very lovely place to go in the hotter weathers, loads of shops to grab food (specifically ice cream!!) with a morrisons right next to the train station to stock up for snacks! Many many fish and chips shops too but some of them are rather limited in their options unfortunately Still a very very beautiful place to go!! I definitely recommend to those looking for a lovely beach day out. #beachday #Cromerbeach

Cromer is such a beautiful seaside destination on the North Norfolk coast, the town has a variety of lovely places to eat, gorgeous beaches and a stunning pier, that hosts shows. Well worth a visit!

The fish&chips restaurant (No.1 Cromer) is open from 12:00 to 20:30 💞Reasons why we recommend it: The beach is so beautiful! It's especially spectacular in the evening (we went in November, and the sunset photos were taken around 15:00-16:00). There is also a Banksy painting. The fish&chips we had at No.1 Cromer were the best we've ever had. The townscape was cute, and there were many gelato shops. 🗓️Itinerary management: 12:00-13:00 No.1 Cromer → 13:00-15:00 Stroll around the town → 15:00+ Relax on the beach
